Happy Birthday to You
A few years ago I started to make cakes for all of the birthdays in my life, beyond my children. Keeping track of who gags at the thought of whipped cream (yes, there are people) and those who like a yellow cake and chocolate icing is tough, but the process is so fun. I’ve under baked a few and had to start over. I didn’t start as a baker, but I’ve grown to love the creativity in decorating, even making a cake for the Lunar New Year last year- The year of the Pig. I declined The Year of the Rat!
